Jill
Jill has over ten years of experience working within the mental health field. Her extensive experience with Latino clients, parent-teen conflict resolution and relationship therapy has given her a firm foundation in precise treatment modalities. Her additional areas of professional practice include: depression, anxiety, anger management therapy, and recovery for victims of sexual and physical abuse.
Jill graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Psychology; and with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). With her second Masters degree in Cross-Cultural Studies, Jill exhibits sensitivity to and enjoys working with clients of all cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Fluent in Spanish, Jill strives to provide her clients of diverse backgrounds with the highest quality of care, delivered through means of communication that are individualized to their particular culture(s).
Jill is a professional commentator on family relationships, contributing to publications such as: The Pasadena Star News, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Whittier Daily News, and the Monrovia Weekly. In 2010, Jill was invited to speak on the subject of child abuse to the Spanish-speaking community on a syndicated show which aired on Telemundo 52. Jill is also a sought-after public speaker, sharing on a wide range of topics including parent-child relationships, parent-teen conflict resolution, postpartum depression, and anxiety.
Jill is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
